Every residential roof we have ever completed has included synthetic underlayment, drip edge on both the eaves and rakes, ice and water shield on the eaves and valleys, removal and new replacements of all existing flashings and water barriers and proper starter-course shingles and accessories. Whether or not your local municipality requires these items and regardless of insurance coverage to pay for them, we install these items because it is the correct way to install a roof. We insist on being able to stand behind the roof you are sleeping under.
